Asclepias Incarnata – also commonly known as Milkweed – can add a great wild flower look to weddings and events. Asclepias Incarnata are often seen used in wedding centerpieces, wedding bouquets and corsages or boutonnieres. Asclepias is a seasonal flower with a light availability in the Spring and a strong availability during the Summer and early Fall months. Asclepias is commonly available in tones of orange, red and lavender. We import Asclepias mainly from Holland due to the superior quality, but also source it from farms in the United States and South America. We typically sell Asclepias by the bunch of ten stems. Our Asclepias arrive with many of the blooms open and several closed buds, and they will need to be hydrated. It is recommended to cut and hydrate Asclepias 1-2 days before using them in a bouquet or centerpiece. Asclepias will have a vase lifespan of 5-7 days or longer if left in a cool location.
