Amaranthus Hanging Green is a very versatile and long lasting flower to add a unique look wedding and event flower arrangements. Amaranthus Hanging Green are often seen used in wedding centerpieces, corsages, boutonnieres and wedding bouquets. Amaranthus comes in two different shapes – the typical upright variety and the more exotic hanging varieties. Amaranthus is sparingly available during the Summer with a strong availability in the Fall and Winter months. Amaranthus is available with a light green flower and a burgundy as well. We import Amaranthus mainly from Holland due to the superior quality, but also source it from farms in the United States and South America. We typically sell Amaranthus by the bunch of ten stems. Our Amaranthus arrive with the bloom open, but they will need to be hydrated. It is recommended to cut and hydrate Amaranthus 1-2 days before using them in a bouquet or centerpiece. Amaranthus will have a vase lifespan of 7-10 days or longer if left in a cool location. They will respond to temperature and need to remain at room temperature to hydrate and let the bloom open, then put in a cool place for storage before use.
