Although cymbidium typically bloom during cooler months, we source them form farms all over the world to maintain a steady availability. Cymbidium Yogi Bear are often seen used in wedding centerpieces, wedding bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres and simply enjoyed in every day flower arrangements. Their impressive, long lasting blooms make them a great choice to submerge in the base of a centerpiece vase. We import Cymbidium orchids from several places depending on the variety requested. Holland tends to have the largest selection while New Zealand offers varieties that may not usually be in season. Cymbidium orchids come in many shades of reds, whites, pinks, bicolors, yellows, greens and oranges. Depending on the bloom size, Cymbidiums are often referred to as mini or large. We sell Cymbidium by the stem but may require a minimum amount of stems when ordering a specific color. Our Cymbidium arrive with the bloom open but it is recommended to cut and hydrate 2-3 days before using them in a bouquet or centerpiece. Cymbidium orchids typically last 7-12 days or longer if in water and cared for properly. Cymbidium respond to temperature and will need to remain at room temperature to hydrate , then put in a cooler place for storage before use. They should not be kept in a refrigerator though.
